When you find yourself between a rock and a hard place, often times the only way out is by taking a leap toward the unknown.
We asked our followers what was holding them back from making a career change and we got a ton of interesting feedback.
What holds you back?
What we heard over and over again is that many of you are afraid, or scared to fail. You either don’t know where to start, don’t have enough money to move, or just find the entire situation scary.
Changing careers is definitely scary. But many times the risk is worth the rewards. Who wants to be stuck in a job that makes them miserable? That doesn’t pay them what they are worth?
So, maybe it’s time for a change.
We found there are three things women are looking into when they start thinking about this career change or what we are calling their "second act."
Finding more flexible work
Continuing their education
Transitioning from work to retirement
Check out our latest issue of “For What It’s Worth" to find out how you can navigate your second act without the fear of failure.
